| First, small samples of tea are obtained from tea brokers and tasted for quality, flavour as well as being assessed for colour. Our blenders then select teas to produce the desired blend then each specific sample blend is brewed and undergoes a methodical tasting procedure.
Our professional tea tasters taste, select & procure teas from various tea producing zones for blending & packaging. This is a highly specialized job, which demands skill and talent developed from years of exposure and experience and we proud to say that we have harnessed this expertise.
Our tea tasters carefully examine the leaf before and after infusion and assess both appearance and taste of the tea liquors. The appearance of both the dry and infused leaf is observed, and the aroma, liquor colour and brightness are assessed. Finally the tea tasters evaluate the tea and approve it for production and packaging. |
